I am a Portland, Oregon-based licensed mental health therapist and consultant who is determined to break down barriers and normalize the prioritization of mental health in African-American communities. I attended Portland State University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a Minor in Black Studies; as well as a Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Practice and Leadership with Communities and Organizations.

I have 10+ years of experience working in the Social Work field with various communities. I have worked with: children and youth in foster care, preschool, and school-aged children, those who are houseless, people in drug and alcohol recovery, children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, people who identify as LGBTQ, and many more! I love working with many diverse groups and I value how much I have learned from these experiences.

I practice from a strengths-based, attachment-focused, and person-centered approach to support people in their healing journeys. In addition to therapy services, I provide training and consulting focused on trauma-informed, equity-centered practices and procedures to school districts, private entities, and organizations.
